Welcome to School District No. 42
Our vision is for every individual to feel valued and for all learners to reach their full potential.
School District No. 42 meets the learning needs of approximately 15,000 students of all ages in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. The District is committed to educational choice and an inclusive, local approach to special education, and has developed numerous skilled trades training partnerships with colleges and universities.

2010-2011 School Year Kindergarten Registration Process
This year kindergarten registration will take place over a two week period:
- February 9 to 12 (Tuesday to Friday)
French Immersion, Montessori and Year Round Kanaka Creek only.
- February 15 to 19 (Monday to Friday)
English Registrations only.
IMPORTANT NOTICE - REGISTRATION DATE CHANGE
The registration dates for French Immersion, Montessori and Year-Round Calendar have changed. For these programs please register from Tuesday to Friday, February 9 to 12. No registration on Monday, February 8.
Full Day Kindergarten in 13 schools for September 2010
In Pitt Meadows full day Kindergarten will be available at: Davie Jones, Edith McDermott and Highland Park. In Maple Ridge full day Kindergarten will be available at: Blue Mountain, Fairview, Glenwood, Golden Ears, Harry Hooge, Maple Ridge, Webster's Corner, Whonnock, the regular program at Eric Langton (not French Immersion) and the regular program at Hammond (not Montessori).
